Step 1
Speak with a doctor to determine if this type of hair loss treatment is right for you. Be sure to write down a list of questions you have about this hair loss treatment and get the answers you want before proceeding.
-
Step 2
Read the product instructions carefully before use if you opt for a topical treatment, such as Rogaine.
-
Step 3
Follow the treatment schedule. Topical treatments, available in either a liquid or foam, need to be applied twice a day to be effective. If you miss an application it isn’t recommended to “make up” the missed treatment. Instead, wait until the next application time and continue as normal.
-
Step 4
Wash hands thoroughly after application to remove any of the product from your skin.
-
Step 5
Let the treatment dry completely. You can then style hair as normal, including using styling products such as mousse or gel.
-
Step 1
Speak to a doctor to determine if this type of treatment is right for you. Be sure to ask questions during your visit such as expected results and side effects.
-
Step 2
Take the medication as directed. Oral hair loss treatments, such as Propecia, work to block the effects of the male hormone androgen and stop hair loss.
-
Step 3
Results have shown to halt hair loss and promote re-growth in 80% of patients after 3 to 6 months.
-
Step 1
Consult a specialist and only deal with a reputable establishment. Be sure to do research on the company and ask to see references and/or actual results.
-
Step 2
Hair transplants are performed by taking tiny plugs of hair from an area of the scalp that still has hair growth. This area is often the nape (back) of the neck at the bottom hairline.
-
Step 3
While this procedure usually required multiple sessions the results are often permanent and natural looking if done correctly.
-
Step 4
Follow all maintenance instructions to avoid any infections.
-
Step 1
Do your homework and find a reputable specialist in either hair weaving procedures or fitting hair pieces. Hair pieces can be a quick and painless way to deal with hair loss. These should be fitted to look natural and blend with your existing hair.
-
Step 2
Be sure the specialist will customize the weave to simulate a natural looking hairline. Surgically attached hair weaves should be natural looking.
-
Step 3
Establish careful cleaning practices to avoid scalp problems. Follow the practitioner's care instructions. Proper cleansing of the hair pieces will need to be done to keep it looking its best.

on 9/4/2009 I don't believe in any hairloss treatment. I tried lots but nothing worked. And take note nobody is bald in my family. Now, I'm desperate and I'm still 24, huhuhuhu.

Watch the little kids and learn from them. They are the greatest forgivers, and they can let go of the things they value the most very easily. Yes, they cried when you take their toys away, but they can also forget about the lost toys very fast, too.
One important point, be sure to knock yourself out by 10pm, and do not wake up until you have at least 8 hrs of sleep.

on 9/7/2007 I just happen to know someone that had a liver transplant. A few months after the operation, his hair was fully restored. I mean from gray to black, new hairs have grown out from his once was bald head. I just think that that best way to stop hair loss or even help them re-grow, do the following: eat healthy food, do the right exercise that is good for your liver (walking, taichi, yoga...etc), be happy (what the little kids and learn from them! yes, that is the gift of forgiving!). It works for me! good luck.
