How to Troubleshoot IPL

IPL files are used with the Corel program for video games like Grand Theft Auto III. If you are having problems with your IPL files, you can do a few things to get them working again. The most common symptoms of bad IPL files are bad computer speeds, excessive application start-up times and trouble loading files on the system. The IPL files are found in your registry. You can use the onboard Registry Checker to check the registry files and repair your IPL files.

Instructions

1. Click the "Start" button and then click on the "Search" box.

2. Type "scanreg.exe" into the "Search" button to launch the tool.

3. Click on the "OK" button to start scanning your registry.

4. Wait for the tool to complete. The completion time will vary depending on the size of your hard drive and the damage on your registry.

5. Exit out of the tool after the scan has completed.

6. Click on the "Restart" option when prompted to restart your system with the files repaired.
