How to Bring Credibility to a Speech
Whether you are giving a speech in public for a random audience or you are preparing for a public presentation to a group of your coworkers, bring credibility to any speech you give to help build trust and your own reputation. Giving credibility to your speeches is possible with a bit of time and proper research.

1
Organize and practice your speech by yourself and with close friends or relatives before the actual speech event. Practice pausing in between sections to take a breath or a drink of water (which will keep you from having a dry mouth or getting tired while speaking).
-
2
Create note cards to help with important keywords and issues you want to talk about during your speech. This will help with remembering the order of your speech as well.

3
Use enthusiasm when speaking about topics you feel passionate about to show others your true emotion and feelings, rather than coming off as only giving a speech you've written word for word. Improvising during your speech will also improve your credibility, as others will see you have sufficient knowledge on the issues or topic you are speaking on.
-
4
Give off confidence when speaking by standing straight and using positive reinforcing body language, such as strong hand movements to show emotion, rather than slouching or standing still, which show insecurity and lack of credibility.
