How to Make a Long Video on YouTube
If you shot some short videos with your digital camera and then uploaded them to YouTube, you might later want to turn them into a longer video. YouTube is a free video-hosting website that enables anyone with an account to post videos, which other people can then search for and watch. For example, you could have uploaded five videos that are one minute each, and now you want to combine them into a five-minute video. You can use YouTube's online video editing feature to make a long video out of the short ones.

Start your Web browser and load the YouTube (youtube.com) website. Sign in to your account.

Click your account name the top of the page. Click "Videos."

Click "Video Editor" at the top of the page. A thumbnail image of each of your uploaded videos appears in the Media Picker section, located at the top of the page.

Click the plus sign on the upper right corner of a video's thumbnail to add the video to the Storyboard editing section below the Media Picker section. Or, click a video's thumbnail and drag it into the Storyboard section. You're adding a copy of the video to the Storyboard; the original remains intact.

Drag another video's thumbnail into the Storyboard section, and continue this procedure until you've placed all the short videos that you want to combine into one long video. Drag a thumbnail to the left or the right in the Storyboard to rearrange the order of the video clips.

Click the "Transitions" icon at the top of the page, identified with an icon of two triangles, if you want to add transition effects to your new video. Thumbnails of transitions appear in the Transitions section, such as Slide and Wipe. Drag the thumbnail of a transition in between the thumbnails of two clips in the Storyboard to automatically apply a transition between them.

Click the "Play" button at the top right of the page under Project to watch your new long video. Type a name for the video in the text box above it.

Click "Publish" to save the long video to your My Videos section, where you will find it with all of your uploaded videos.
