How to Defeat the Blundertails in "Spyro: the Eternal Night"
In "The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night," players control a young dragon capable of flying and breathing fire. One challenge the game presents is having to face and defeat two giant, scorpion-like creatures called Blundertails. These monsters have not stingers, but cannons at the ends of their tails, and are immune to most default attacks. Often, when a player attacks one, the other Blundertail will overwhelm the player from behind. Defeating two Blundertails at once requires patient and careful strategy.

1
Choose one of the creatures, if there is more than one, and position yourself so it stands between you and the other, allowing you to focus on it without being harmed.
-
2
Perform the "Melee Knockup" with the "O" button on your controller to cause the Blundertail to lower his claw defense.
-
-
3
Move quickly to the other while the first is unable to attack, and perform the same disarming attack.
-
4
Perform additional attacks to the second Blundertail while it is unable to fight back and while you are safe from attack from the first.
-
5
Continue in this fashion, singling out each creature in a hit-and-run fashion, until one of them collapses and lies down on the ground. When this occurs, immediately perform a Tail Strike attack by pressing "X, X, O" on your controller.
