Juno may lack a glitzy Web interface for checking your email accounts, but with POP3 access for all users, you can manage your email from almost any platform. At first glance, it may seem that the Android operating system only supports Gmail, but hidden away in the app drawer is a generic email client that can be configured to access any POP3 or IMAP email service, including Juno. The generic email client offers all the same functionality as Gmail on an Android, including push notifications and system-wide integration so that you can share and send emails using your Juno account.

Step 1

Open the Android app drawer and then tap the "Mail" icon.

Step 2

Select "Other (POP3/IMAP)" as your mail provider. If you already have an email account configured, press the "Menu" button and then tap "More," "New Account."

Step 3

Type your Juno account email address and password, then tap "Next."

Step 4

Set the POP server to "pop.juno.com," change the server port to "995" and select "SSL" as the security type. Tap "Next."

Step 5

Set the SMTP server to "smtp.juno.com," change the server port to "465" and select "SSL" as the security type. Tap "Next."

Step 6

Customize the account name and your display name (this is the name shown in the "From" field when you send emails using Juno), then tap "Finish Setup."
