Take the garment and dip it fully into a plain water bath of warm water. Let it sit for about five minutes. Dipping the garment in water will saturate the garment and change it to the color of the water spot.
Step2
Remove from water. Gently wring out the water. Lay flat to air dry. Do not use your dryer this can cause shrinkage. Using your dryer can also cause the water spot to stand out more than it would with air drying.
Step3
A water spot may never go away but dipping the garment in water makes the garment become the color of the spot so it blends in well. This is the only way to help fix the garment.
Tips & Warnings
Be fully aware that dipping the garment will cause the garment to change color. It should not change drastically just a shade darker than original color. So if you have matching items you will need to dip every piece together to make them match in color.
