How do I Require Approval for Yahoo! Groups Messages?

Yahoo! Groups is a discussion board platform developed by Yahoo! as part of the Yahoo! suite of online services. Yahoo! Groups allows you to create groups and customize the group settings based on your preferences. One of these preference settings allows you to require approval for all messages prior to posting the message on the discussion board. You may want to require this approval for your Yahoo! group to prevent spam and other types of messages from appearing on your Yahoo! group.

Instructions

1. Go to the Yahoo! Groups homepage.

2. Enter your Yahoo! username and password and click the "Sign In" button.

3. Select the Yahoo! group you created and for which you want to change the message settings.

4. Click the "Management" option on the left side of the group's homepage.

5. Click the "Messages" option.

6. Click the "Moderated" option to require approval for all messages submitted to the group.

7. Click "Save Changes" to change the settings for your Yahoo! group.
