How to Close the Favorites in Toolbar

"Favorites" is a menu on the toolbar that opens when Windows Internet Explorer's Favorites feature is activated. A special toolbar icon is dedicated to closing the Favorites window. You can click this toolbar icon to disable favorite items from your computer's display.

Instructions

1. Open Internet Explorer if it's not already open.

2. Click the "Favorites" button, which is in the shape of a star on your toolbar.

3. Click the "Favorites" button once more from the Internet Explorer toolbar to close it.
