How to Make a Spider Web Shirt
You may be attending a Halloween party or you could just be interested in spiders and the intricate webs they weave. Either way, a spider web shirt could probably complete your look. Luckily, making a spider web shirt is simple enough for you to do at home with minimal supplies. Make a matching set for you and your family or go solo with your new wardrobe addition.
Things You'll Need
- Black shirt
- Clothes iron
- Washable fabric chalk
- White squeezable fabric paint
Instructions

1
Launder a black T-shirt as directed by the label and iron it to smooth the surface.
-
2
Draw an "X" shape across the entire front of the shirt with washable fabric chalk.
-
-
3
Draw a "+" over the "X" so the lines all intersect at the same spot.
-
4
Draw small line segments between the lines, all the way around the center and gradually start drawing the segments outward to create a spiral from the intersection of the lines out to the edges of the shirt. Reference a photo of a spider web to guide you.
-
5
Trace over all of your lines with white squeezable fabric paint. Allow the paint to dry according to the package instructions.
-
6
Launder the shirt again to remove the chalk from the design, leaving only the painted web behind.
