How to Join Paths & Objects in Fireworks

A "path" is a line or curve you follow to create a basic shape or "object" in Adobe Fireworks. This image editor lets you join or combine the paths of two or more overlapping objects using the "Join Path" command in the "Path" panel. Fireworks removes overlapping areas from the objects once the paths are joined, -- turning separate objects into a single, combined object. "Join Paths" is handy for creating patterns. For example, you can use it create a red and white pattern from two red squares that are overlapping.
