How to Heat Up Lasagna in the Oven

Lasagna is a perfect hearty meal—and it can be even be better as leftovers. Comprised of layers of pasta, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce and meat, lasagna made from scratch requires about an hour of bake time. Precooking, freezing and reheating it in the oven means you can have a quick, no-fuss entrée any night of the week.

Thaw frozen, precooked lasagna in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Place the whole lasagna or individual slices in an oven-safe glass dish.

Cover the pan tightly with tin foil to lock in heat and moisture so that the lasagna doesn't dry out.

Place the pan on the middle rack in the oven and heat the lasagna for 20 to 25 minutes until the cheese bubbles and the interior of the lasagna is hot to the touch.
