Click "Insert Image" and "Upload" then find the image that will be accompanied by a caption. Press "Choose Files" to browse your hard drive for the image and click "Open." Select the image from within the "Add Images" box and choose "Add Selected" to start the upload or "Cancel" if you made a mistake and want to place a different picture into your Blogger post.

View the image you added to the "Compose" area and select it. One click on any part of the image activates the option to caption the image. Clicking outside of the picture will deactivate this option.

Click the "Add Caption" link and view the caption's placeholder beneath the inserted image. Triple-click to select the default caption and replace it with your own words. Select "Preview" to evaluate how your caption looks with the image.
