How to Get the Pool by the Dam on "Skate 2"
"Skate 2" is a skateboarding video game in which players take part in the development of a professional skater. Taking this skater as a rookie, players complete various tasks that unlock new challenges and advance his career. The city of "Skate 2" features many secret locations that, when unlocked, serve as new skateboarding locations. Completing the Thrasher Magazine challenges unlocks a number of hidden skating locations, including indoor stadiums, school yard parks and the pool located near the city dam.

Begin a new game of "Skate 2."

Create the main character by selecting its gender, physical appearance and clothing style. Once complete, select the career mode to begin a new game.

Review the in game map to see all available options. The locations highlighted with the letter "T" indicate where the next Thrasher Magazine challenge will commence. Travel to the location to start the next challenge.

Complete the various objectives needed to pass each Thrasher Magazine challenge. For example, one challenge requires the character to skateboard downhill and complete a kick flip trick while jumping over a massive chasm.

Progress through each Thrasher Challenge until the main character earns a chance to appear on the cover of the magazine. Complete that challenge to unlock the pool located near the dam.

Tips & Warnings
All of the Thrasher Magazine challenges do not appear initially. Instead, you must complete additional objectives located on the game map to further the storyline and the character's career. Once you unlock a new section, new Thrasher Magazine challenges become available. If you are having a hard time completing the tricks needed to complete the challenges, study the tricks guide in the Pause Menu and keep practicing the challenge. You have an unlimited number of times in which you can do the challenge and you can complete them in any order. Leave the harder challenges for last if you are having a hard time with them.
