How to Keep Shirt Tails In

1
Clip one end of the shirt stay to the top of your sock. Knee-length socks are recommended for average height individuals so the garter is not too tight. If you are wearing the over-the-heel variety, slip the heel portion over your foot.

2
Pull the other end up to your shirt and fasten to the shirt tail. There should be a small amount of tension when you hook the shirt. If you do not have to pull the shirt stay to reach the shirt, then there is no tension and you will need to change into shorter socks or adjust the length of the garter strap.

Put your pants on, pull them up and fasten as normal. Make sure all parts of the shirt stay inside your pants while fastening.

4
Raise your hands over your head to pull the shirt up from your pants slightly. This will make an even overhang along the top of your pants as opposed to normal movements creating an uneven overhang throughout the day.
