How to Glue Velvet to Cardboard

Instructions

1. Designate where you would like to pin your velvet fabric to your cardboard. You may want to lightly mark this location with a pencil or pen so that you do not lose your spot. Try to select a smooth area on the cardboard so that the fabric has an easier time holding.

2. Apply a generous amount of fabric glue to your velvet fabric. Fabric glue is a specialized substance that can hold fabric to surfaces without seeping through the fabric or damaging its fibers.

3. Press and hold your velvet fabric against your cardboard, with the fabric glue pressing up between the fabric and the cardboard. Hold the two together for at least a minute.

4. Leave the fabric glue to dry, so that the hold between the velvet and the cardboard is solidified.
