How to Format Bars in P6
In Oracle Primavera P6, the standard layouts for the bars can become tiresome or non-specific for the project. In this instance, you can designate your own formatting for the bars. Oracle Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (Oracle P6) is a very complex project management application to be used in a large-scale organization or company environment. Various bars are used to designate client or employee responsibility and these bars can be formatted within Oracle P6.

Open your Oracle P6 project.

Right-click one of your Gantt charts, or the organization charts, and click "Properties." This will open a "Bars" property chart.

Change the options in the "Bar Style" section for the bar you want to format, such as "Color," "Pattern" and "Row." Repeat for all bars.

Click "Apply," then "OK" when you are finished customizing the settings.
