Animated Glitter Angels

Animated glitter angels can add personality to a message board signature or social networking homepage.

Animated glitter angels are a popular sight on message boards and social networking websites such as Facebook and MySpace. Thanks to the many aspiring graphic designers all over the Internet, getting hold of your own glitter angel is simple and fun.

Instructions

1. Visit a website that has premade animated glitter angels, such as Glitter Wink or Glitter Graphics Now. Browse through their extensive libraries of angel graphics, which can range from cute and innocent to sexy and sultry. Check to make sure your image contains a glitter effect through animation, which most do.

2. Highlight the HTML code listed below your chosen angel, and cut or copy it. Go into your MySpace account and click on the "About Me" section. Paste the code into this space and save your work. For a message board, click "HTML Preferences" or something similar, and again paste the code and save your work. Your glitter angel should now appear on your page.

3. Right click your chosen graphic and save to your hard drive if you are trying to place your angel on a site that does not allow for direct HTML. Be sure to save it somewhere you can easily find it, such as your desktop or picture folder. Upload your saved animated glitter angel directly, following the photo upload instructions on whatever site to which you are trying to display it.

4. Download a glitter angel theme to your cell phone, using a website like Zedge. Select your phone type and download preference, and follow the remaining instructions. In most cases, the theme will be sent to your cell phone immediately, and will either be free or at relatively low cost.
