How to Fade Power Auras in Blizzard "Cataclysm"
"Cataclysm" is a "World of Warcraft" expansion by the gaming company Blizzard. With the release of "Cataclysm," Blizzard introduced a new combat feature called Power Auras that allows players to have class-specific graphics appear when a special ability or skill can be used. This is meant to help players see when these abilities can be used during the middle of a fight. The configuration for Power Auras can be found in the user interface options in-game.

Load "World of Warcraft," and log into your account.

Log in with any character, and press "Esc" to bring up the game menu.

Select "Interface" from the game menu options, and click on the "Combat" tab.

Click and drag the sliding bar under the option Show Spell Alerts to reduce or increase the fade of the Power Aura graphics.
