Send in Your Gold

It is best to get an appraisal for the value of your gold before you mail it in to the company. This will help you estimate the true value of your gold. Even a pawn shop estimate will help.
If you are sending in over $100 worth of gold, send it in your own packaging to the address on the refiner's bag. Bring the package to the post office and insure it for its real value. Cash4Gold only insures the items you send them up to $100.
Do not take the "Fast Cash" option. While this will deposit the money directly into your checking account, this will waive your right to reject their offer. -
Cash4Gold Appraises Your Items

The company's employees will weigh and evaluate your gold. They will then send you a check for what they value your item to be worth. This may be significantly less than what you expected.
Be warned, they may take longer than they should to send you a check for your gold. This does matter because it will seriously affect the amount of time you have to reject their offer if it is too low.
Review Your Offer

If you are not happy with the value of your check, call the company immediately. You only have 12 days from the date on the check to call and request your items back. Even if you believe the amount is fair, it may help to call and see if you can get more.
Cash4Gold expects clients to call and ask for more money; they frequently offer up to three times as much as the original check. If you already had an appraisal, bring this up with the operator so they know you know the value of your items.
Cash Your Check or Return It

If you accepted and cashed the original check, the transaction is done.
If you bartered for more money, your transaction is over when you receive and cash your new check.
On the other hand, if you rejected their offer, you need to return your check. It may take up to a month for you to receive your items back from Cash4Gold.
