  1. Preparing Work Area

    • PVC Water Supply

Remove items underneath the sink and have a bucket ready to catch water once the supply line has been disconnected. Assess the work area. There are different lengths for water supply lines; either measure the length, or once it has been removed, take it to the store to match. Water supply lines are available in flexible stainless steel or a flexible PVC. Either will work for this application.

    Turn off water

    • Main Water Supply Shutoff Valve

Turn off the water, either underneath the sink or at the main water supply. Using an adjustable wrench, disconnect the supply lines, turning in a counterclockwise direction, from the incoming water line and from the faucet. Place a bucket under the open supply.

    Installing the New Supply

    • Stainless Water Supply

Water supply lines are different for faucets and toilets. Purchase the correct size and type of supply line. Hook the new line to the faucet and main line with an adjustable wrench, turning clockwise. Once the nuts have been tightened, turn water on from the valve. Test water pressure and look for leaks by turning the faucet on.
