A basic form of Lipodrene contains the following ingredients: green tea extract, hoodia gordonii, coryphantha macromeris extract (a stimulant and mild hallucinogenic found in cactus) and phenylethylamine (a mood enhancer also found in chocolate that promotes positive mood and well-being).
Some blends of Lipodrene also contain Citrus aurantium, a compound similar chemically to ephedra. It is believed to stimulate weight loss by boosting metabolism, but there aren't any reliable studies to verify this claim. The product also contains yohimbe, a compound often touted as a natural aphrodisiac that can also promote weight loss. On its own, yohimbe has also been used to correct impotence.
