    Timer

  1. A portable dishwasher works on a timer system. When the timer cycles to the "drain" stage, it triggers the motor to reverse and pumps out the water from the bottom of the dishwasher.
  2. Hose

  3. A discharge hose is connected from the bottom of the dishwasher to the sink faucet connection. When the timer signals the motor to reverse, the water is pumped through the hose from the machine to the connection outlet at the faucet.
  4. Sink

  5. Water is released from the discharge hose through the discharge hose connection near the faucet and into the sink basin, where it empties into the sink drain and out to the sewer system.
