    Flowering Versus Non Flowering

  1. Nearly all non-flowering plants, such as ferns, grow from spores whereas flowering plants, such as pansies, grow from seeds.
  2. How Spores Come Into Being

  3. Protoplasm, the basic reproductive material of plants, are divided into individual cells. Throughout the plant's life cycle, cells grow into spores with a protective casing.
  4. How Spores Become Plants

  5. The casings in which the spores are contained eventually dry out, crack open and release all the individual spores inside. These spores are light in weight and easily spread through the air. When the spores land on a fertile growing medium, a plant begins to grow, which starts the process all over again.
