If you are using photography or artwork for your disc, using a program such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop works best. Insert your image according to the template. Often, this means part of your image will be cropped. When you are happy with the way the image is placed, you are ready to add text.

Decide how large you want your text and what font will complement your image and represent the music. Play around with it until you are happy. Remember, this is what the consumer will read first when seeing the album in stores. Move on to the album's title. The title should generally be smaller than the musician's name. Use the same or a complementary font for that as well.
