Removing Bathtub Stickers
-
Hair Dryer
-
Making sure there is absolutely no water in the tub, use a standard gun-style hair dryer aimed directly at the bathtub stickers. Put on the highest heat setting possible and blow the heat onto the stickers to loosen up the adhesive beneath. This will usually make them much easier to peel off.
WD-40
-
Few household products are more useful than WD-40, and this is true when it comes to bathtub stickers and decals. Try to work up one part of the decal with your fingernail or a even a screwdriver if you are careful not to scratch the surface. Spray some WD-40 beneath the sticker, as much as possible, and let it sit for a few minutes. The WD-40 has properties that will help dissolve and break down the adhesive glue, and this should make it much easier to remove the sticker.

Lighter Fluid
-
For very stubborn glue left behind after you peel up the stickers, one thing that really works well is lighter fluid. You won't usually need very much, so take it easy with the application. Just place a few drops directly onto the glue, allow it to seep in for a few minutes and that should do the trick. Make sure the bathroom is well-ventilated to avoid getting sick from the fumes; open a window or turn on the bathroom fan.
Vinegar
-
Vinegar is another common household item that is great for a number of different jobs. The best way to to use vinegar to loosen bathtub stickers is filling the tub about two inches full of very hot water. Pour in a cup of white vinegar and allow to sit until the water has gotten cool enough for you to stick your hand in but still remains very warm. Using a wallpaper scraper, gently begin to peel off the stickers.
Baby Shampoo
-
It may not be strong enough to produce tears, but there are properties in most baby shampoos that are strong enough to loosen bathtub stickers and decals. Pour some baby shampoo directly onto the stickers and let it sit overnight. By the morning the decals should come off with a plastic wallpaper scraper.
Goo Gone
-
Some people swear by the commercial product known as Goo Gone to approach any problem involving adhesives or products attached with glue. Pour the Goo Gone into a paper towel and begin rubbing the stickers and in many cases the sticker will come right off.
