    Raise the Truck

  1. The catalytic converter is located in the center on the bottom of your truck. Pull your truck up on vehicle ramps for easier access to the catalytic converter.
  2. Prep for Removal

  3. Spray rust remover on the three exhaust pipes, bolts and brackets entering the Dodge Rams catalytic converter.
  4. Removing the Catalytic Converter

  5. Unscrew the bolts and brackets that hold the two exhaust pipes from the engine manifold into the catalytic converter. Once you unscrew these bolts you can pull and twist the catalytic converter until it slides off of the exhaust pipe and that exits the rear to the muffler.
