They may choose to go with a bold choice, a subtle dress or a casual look depending on the nature of the premiere.

For example, if the film is an Oscar contender a movie star may choose a dramatic gown. However, if the premiere is for a casual, animated movie, the stylist and the star may choose to go with a more casual outfit, such as jeans and a nice blouse.

Styling the Movie Star's Hair

Stylists often work with celebrity hairstylists to make sure that their hair styles go well with their outfits. Celebs can end up on worst dress lists for their hair styles, as quickly as they can end up on them for their attire. So, getting a hairstyle right is also key. Once the star and the stylist have agreed on an outfit for the premiere, the hairstylist and stylist will discuss hairstyles that complement the premiere outfit or dress.

Once the star's outfit and hairstyle has been chosen, shoes, earrings and other accessories that complement the star's outfit will be selected as well. On the day of the premiere, the star will hire a make-up artist who will get her ready for the event. She will usually also have a manicure and pedicure to ensure that when photographers take pictures of her, her nails and feet will be in tip-top shape.
