    Introduction

  1. Regardless of whether your pet is potty trained, every once in a while he is probably going to have an accident and cause a stain. There are many products on the market for getting out these pet stains, but many involve harsh chemicals that may damage your carpet, or in some cases may even damage your animal. Luckily, there are natural products on the market as well that can help clean up the stain without harming your home or your pet.
  2. Corn-Based Ethanol

  3. One of the main ingredients in many natural pet stain products is corn-based ethanol. This product helps loosen the stain from the carpet so that you can easily wipe it up. Corn-based ethanol is created by taking the vegetable portion of the corn stalk and fermenting and distilling the natural sugars contained in the corn.
  4. Plant-Based Cleansers

  5. Many natural pet stain products also use plant-based cleansers to help remove a stain while leaving a pleasant odor in its place. Orange and other citrus plants are often used for this purpose. This allows you to have the same cleaning power, but with ingredients that will not harm your animals, or your flooring.
  6. Natural Bio-cultures

  7. Bio-cultures are also commonly found in natural cleaning products. Bio- cultures are organisms that naturally break down waste. Normally you find bio-cultures in areas such as water treatment plants or sewage systems. However, when harnessed into a cleaning spray, these bio-cultures can easily break down the waste in pet stains to make them much easier to clean out of your flooring and furniture.
  8. Scent

  9. There are a wide range of scents that are available in natural products on the market. Most natural pet stain removers get their scents from pure oils extracted directly from fruits and plants. This gives a strong enough scent to give the area a pleasant smell, but without using synthetic perfumes that can cause irritation and allergies for you and your pets.
