  1. An ExerSaucer is a stationary activity area for infants developed by Evenflo. ExerSaucers were developed to replace baby "walkers" which were deemed dangerous by the American Academy of Pediatrics in 1995.
  2. A baby is placed inside the ExerSaucer in a cloth seat with leg holes. The seat is adjusted by the parents to a height that allows the baby to touch the floor in order to practice standing and strengthen leg muscles. Many ExerSaucers are built to be bounced or gently rocked by the baby's motion.
  3. The ExerSaucer also provides activity toys to occupy the baby. Many ExerSaucers are made so the baby can spin around and play with toys on all sides. ExerSaucers can be equipped with rattles, spinners, buttons, books, noise makers, music players and even overhead gyms. These activities are designed to both amuse and educate the baby, keeping him active and out of trouble.
