    Reduces Sebum

  1. Sebum is a naturally produced oily substance. It is secreted by the hair glands, and when produced in normal amounts, simply helps the scalp to remain moisturized. When produced in excess amounts, however, sebum accumulates on the scalp, mixes with dirt and forms a crust that can damage existing hair follicles and prevent new hair follicles from growing. Aloe vera has antibacterial properties, which help to reduce the excess sebum and allow the scalp to breathe and the follicles to renew themselves.
  2. Activates Hair Growth

  3. Aloe vera activates new hair growth and growth of already existing hair follicles by increasing the blood circulation to the follicle root. It also helps to cleanse the pores (especially good if excess sebum is the cause of poor hair growth) and bring the pH of the scalp into balance.
  4. Provides Moisture, Minerals and Vitamins

  5. Aloe vera is a great source of moisture for the scalp and hair follicles. It contains over 20 minerals and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C and E. Hair follicles like vitamins, so having a plentiful supply is a good thing for hair growth.
