How Does an HHO Electrolyzer Work?
  1. Electricity

    • Electricity is the flow of electrical power, or charge. It is made by the conversion of other sources of energy, known as primary sources, which include oil, coal, gas and nuclear power. Although electricity is not a renewable source, it can be made with renewable or non-renewable sources.

    Hydrogen

    • Hydrogen is a gas and the most simple element in existence. The universe contains more hydrogen than any other gas. Each atom of hydrogen contains one proton, so hydrogen is lighter than air. This is what causes it to rise. This is also why hydrogen can only be found in compound form mixed with other elements. Hydrogen combines with oxygen to form water, or H2O.
Hydrogen, like electricity, is a carrier of energy and must be created from another source. It can be made from sources such as water, fossil fuels and bio mass, or can be created as a chemical byproduct.

    Electrolytes

    • An electrolyte is a liquid that conducts energy by acting as a medium. In solutions they turn to ions, allowing them to carry electricity. Sodium, potassium, chloride and bicarbonate are all examples of an electrolyte. The human body also contains large amounts of electrolytes that must be balanced to maintain health.
