Talk to the residents currently living there, to see how they like it. Find out their gripes, if any. If the management of the facility won't allow this type of research, you should proceed with caution because it is likely that they have something to hide. Also, it is very important to make sure that the facility can provide activities that are interesting to the person or people planning to enter the facility. It makes no sense to spend all that money only to find out later that the resident is bored, unhappy and has nothing to do.
