    Number of Cards

  1. A standard deck of cards consists of 52 cards, plus two "jokers." An UNO deck contains 108 cards total.
  2. Card Values

  3. Cards in an UNO deck range from 0 to 9, with eight of each number except the 0 card. There are also eight "Skip" cards, "Reverse" cards and "Draw Two" cards, plus four "Wild" cards and four "Wild Draw Four" cards. Cards in a standard deck range from ace to 10, followed by three face cards of jack, queen and king in ascending order. The ace in a standard deck may also function as the highest card in the deck. There are four cards of each value.
  4. Cosmetic Differences

  5. With the exception of the "Wild" and "Wild Draw Four" cards, which come in black, all cards in an UNO deck come in four colors: red, green, blue and yellow. Each of these cards come in two of each color. All cards (except the jokers) in a standard deck come in four suits: black spades, black clubs, red hearts and red diamonds.
  6. Rules

  7. Of course, an UNO card deck is meant solely for playing the popular Mattel card game. A standard card deck can be used for many games, from go fish to poker.
