- As with almost all travel arrangements, you can do your booking online. Visit the website of the car rental agency you want to use and register. Then choose the type of car you are interested in renting and the dates you need the car. At check-out, you will find a box to enter a coupon code. Sometimes the code is a word or some random numbers and letters. The coupon code could be good for one free day or for 15 percent off. Typing the coupon code will generate a new price that reflects the discount. Finish checking out with your credit card.
