This old TV set needed a digital converter to make it work. It is used as an emergency tornado/bad weather warning TV for our office. Below is how I connected the converter box.

After installing the converter box there were more stations available to watch, and the picture was clearer. The channel numbering system for the TV stations changed. One thing that I noticed was that the stations take longer to come in when changing stations.
Installing the converter box is easy to do.
