  • What Are the Causes of Fibroid Sharp Pain?

Because most uterine fibroids cause no pain, many women do not realize that they have them. In some cases, fibroids can cause sharp pain. Your doctor can figure out why they are painful and offer treatment options.

  • Why Do an Endometrial Biopsy?

A female's internal reproductive system consists of the ovaries, fallopian tubes, vagina and the uterus. Any disruption in the delicate functioning of these organs can result in menstrual abnormalities and problems with fertility. When reproductive health problems are suspected, an endometrial biopsy can be useful in helping to pinpoint the cause.

  • Fibroids That Cause Hyperglycemia

Fibroids are a type of tumor that grow from the smooth muscle walls of the uterus. They occur in roughly 20 percent of all women, though are only malignant in 0.02 percent of those cases reported. If they grow large enough, they can be found during pelvic exams, and are often mistaken for ovarian cysts when they first form. • What Causes Fibroids?

Fibroids are benign (non-cancerous) growths that most commonly develop in the uterus. According to the Mayo Clinic, as many as three out of four women will develop fibroids at some point in their lives. In most cases, fibroids do not cause any serious medical problems. However, if sharp pains or heavy bleeding during menstruation occurs, it may be recommended by your doctor to have the fibroid removed.

  • Can Fibroids Cause Infertility?

Fibroids can occur inside the uterus at any stage in a woman's life. She may have used an IUD or have irregular menstrual cycles or have other factors that contributed to the fibroids. According to Planned Parenthood, in some cases, fibroids can make it more difficult to get pregnant and sustain a pregnancy. Generally, fibroids are not the direct cause of infertility but may interfere with it. Fibroids are tissues and cells that clump and create a physical obstacle from the fetus properly developing and adhering. Some women may miscarry because of fibroids.
