Teenagers, especially, spend time and energy evaluating and reevaluating themselves and their identities. Adults may also go through this process as life circumstances change.

Family Home Evening (FHE) is a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint's ideology. The concept encourages righteous living and strengthening of faith through family activities. In 1970, then President Joseph Fitzgerald Smith mandated Monday nights as FHE night.
