Every living thing needs nutrients to grow. Plants get theirs from the soil surrounding their roots. Depending on the make-up of the soil you plant in, these nutrients are available to a greater or lesser extent. Miracle-Gro® is a water-soluble plant food that soaks into the soil and gets to where the roots can absorb the nutrients.

Plants absorb most of their necessary nutrients through their roots. Although many of these nutrients exist in the soil, it is easier to get to them if they are already suspended in water, which the roots absorb automatically.

The instructions on the Miracle-Gro® package recommend adding Miracle-Gro® to your water every seven to 14 days. Keeping these nutrients constantly available to your plants will help them flourish.
