VersaClean is a liquid, water-soluble chemical solution used to clean x-ray trays and x-ray developer tanks. The VersaClean cleaning solution contains mainly water in addition to up to 5-percent Ammonium thiosulfate and up to 5-percent Ferric ammonium EDTA, according to FR Chemical, the manufacturer of this product.     • VersaClean is a brown liquid that is water soluble and has a boiling point of 212 degrees Fahrenheit and a freezing point of 32 degrees Fahrenheit. This chemical solution has a pH level of 5.5 and does not exhibit any flammability characteristics. VersaClean exhibits chemical stability unless exposed to substances with high acidity.
