Installation

Place the woodstove on a noncombustible floor surface, such as concrete, with 12 inches of open space surrounding the stove. Use stovepipe to connect the stove to the chimney. Confirm that the chimney extends at least 2 feet above the roof for safe ventilation.

The chimney should not have multiple bends; the best ventilation and draft for a woodstove occurs with a straight chimney. Do not install the stove against a wall. Ensure 8 to 36 inches of empty space between the wall and the stove body.
