Crashes or Attacks
-
Data Doctor Recovery is designed primarily for accidental or malicious problems, such as crashes, power failures or hardware or software malfunctions. It can also recover or restore files after a virus attack or other infection.
Accidental Deletions
-
When files are deleted, they are not really gone. The addresses that enable the computer to find them are gone and the space they take up is marked as available. Data Doctor Recovery software can restore files that have been deleted accidentally, through disk formatting or by having emptied the recycle bin folder.

Requirements
-
Data Doctor Recovery typically requires an Intel Pentium processor, 128 megabytes (MB) of random access memory (RAM) and 18 MB of disk space. Versions are available that work with Microsoft Windows 7, Vista, XP and Server 2008 and 2003.
