2000 Ford LCF Dump Truck Specifications
The Ford LCF series was designed for close spaces where conventional cabs may not fit. The trucks were used for general delivery, utility, construction and landscaping, and were very often leased or rented. The Ford LCF series was discontinued in 2009.

Standard Features

Standard equipment includes AM/FM stereo with clock, hydraulic split brake system (front and rear disc with three-channel ABS), fixed and intermittent wiper control with wet-arm washer fluid delivery, floor-mounted shift control with tow/haul activation button, power steering, and tilt/telescoping steering column.
Optional Features

Options for the Ford LCF included air conditioning, chromed grill, 19.5-inch polished-aluminum wheels, electric backup alarm, a power take-off (PTO) provision and either a single (left-side mounted) or dual 35-gallon tanks mounted on both sides of the vehicle.

Engine

The 2000 Ford LCF dump truck is powered by a 4.5L Power Stroke® V6 engine with TorqShift™ five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The engine produces 200 hp at 2,650 rpm and 440 foot-pounds of torque at 1,850 rpm.
Frame and Suspension

The Ford LCF series trucks and dump trucks were constructed using U.S. industry-standard 34-inch frame width and optional axle-to-frame (AF) dimensions. The frame height (unloaded) is 28.3 inches (front) and 30.0 inches (rear). The front suspension: 6000-lb. front springs (L45), 7000-lb. front springs (L55); the rear suspension: 11,000-lb. rear springs (L45), 13,500-lb. rear springs (L55).
