Stardream Paper Print Techniques
Stardream paper comes in a range of finishes, including metallic, pearlescent and iridescent. The paper is available in a wide range of colors. There is a one-sided paper and board option, and an embossed board available in three different finishes.

Applications

Available in two different thicknesses, you can use Stardream for many text and cover applications, including annual reports, brochures, direct mail, certificates, stationery and greeting cards.
Suitability

Stardream is suitable for blind embossing, creasing (with pre-creasing advisable), foil blocking, one-side coated lamination, offset varnish, silk screen with a ruling up to 150, thermography, and ultraviolet (UV) varnish. Although suitable for poly-lamination, carry out trial tests to make sure the film adheres to the paper.

Recommendations

Printing techniques for which Stardream is recommended include lithography, die-cutting, lamination, letterpress, and offset. Stardream is guaranteed for laser printing, including color.
Inks

Conventional, UV and infrared (IR) inks are suitable. If printing dense tones or solids, use fully oxidizing inks. Stardream is not recommended for preprint lithography and subsequent laser printing.
