Elo Entuitive 1725 Power Problems

The Elo Entuitive 1725L touchscreen monitor allows users to control the connected computer by touching the screen directly, instead of using a mouse. Once the 1725L is setup, you might encounter issues with power outages.

  1. Power Cable

    • If the 1725L has no power or a blank screen, the power cord might be compromised. Confirm that the cord is firmly inserted into the brick power cable port on the back of the monitor. Unplug the cord from the monitor to reset the connection, wait a few seconds and plug the cord back in.

    Power Outlet

    • The wall outlet might be defective, which would prevent power from streaming to the monitor. Unplug the power cord from the wall or strip outlet and plug in a different electronic device. Turn the device on to ensure the outlet's proper functionality. If the power cord is plugged into a power strip, confirm that the power strip is switched on.

    Video Cable

    • If the screen is blank, the 1725L might be receiving power but have a bad video cable connection. Unscrew the sides of the video cable and remove it from the back of the monitor. Inspect the prongs of the cable. If the prongs are bent or damaged, replace the cord. Unscrew, remove and inspect the end connecting to the computer.
