The iTrip, an FM-transmitter for iPod MP3 players, was introduced in 2005 by Griffin Technology. CNet reports that the iTrip allows users to easily transmit music in their vehicle with decent performance. Although easy to use, they can be expensive and multiple iTrip models suffer signal interference.

Despite the high price, it experiences sound interference and iLounge argues that the device's updated controls "do not add much" compared to past models.
