Does a Snowie Ice Shaver Machine Have a Brake?
When the warmer summer months arrive, shaved ice treats start selling. Manufacturers, like Snowie, provide ice shaver machines for personal and small-party use. It can also be used for a large-scale booth business.

Identification
-
Snowie offers three differently sized ice shaver machines for various applications. The Little Snowie is small and compact, ideal for a small home or for park parties. The Snowie 1000 is geared toward venting carts or fast food facilities, whereas the Snowie 3000 is meant for a fast-paced selling position, capable of producing 18 servings every minute.
Features
-
All three ice shaver models do not have a typical brake. The system starts and stops with the foot pedal, which allows the user to free their hands to work with the produced ice. When the foot presses the pedal, the machine starts. Once the foot is removed, the machine stops.

Considerations
-
The alternative to the foot pedal is the toggle switch. The switch is flipped on when the user is ready to dispense ice, and then manually flipped off when ice is no longer needed.
