Stealth Cam Prowler Problems

The Stealth Cam Prowler scouting camera is mounted in the forest and activates when an object crosses its sensor. The camera catches digital video in correspondence to the inserted Secure Digital memory card capacity.

  1. Picture

    • If images appear blurry or smudged, the lens might be dirty. Use a special soft lens cloth to remove grime from the lens. To avoid getting the lens dirty, avoid touching it with your fingers.

    Power

    • If the Prowler fails to power on, the batteries might be installed incorrectly. Open the battery chamber located on the bottom of the camera and remove the batteries. Insert six C batteries in accordance with the polarity indicators printed on the inside of the chamber.

    Testing

    • If the camera does not activate when you walk in front of it during test mode, the sensor might need adjustment. When walking in front of the camera during testing, a green indicator light illuminates. If it does not, reposition the camera about 4 to 5 feet from the ground and angle it downward.
