Google Samsung DLP Problems
The Samsung DLP is a high-definition television manufactured by Samsung. When you first set up your Samsung DLP, you may realize the picture is not like it was in the store. This can be fixed with a few tweaks to the television to ensure the optimal viewing experience.

Grainy Picture

This is not caused by the Samsung DLP, but by your cable company. Contact your cable provider about upgrading your equipment to HDTV-specific models to eliminate a grainy picture.
Poor Colors

You may notice that the colors on your television may be washed out, or some features, such as skin tones, do not look normal. This can be solved by pressing "Menu" on your DLP's remote and navigating to the "Picture" settings. Adjust the various sliders until the colors are to your liking.

Reconnect All Connections

If any video cables, such as those of a DVD player, are not inserted firmly into your Samsung DLP, the picture quality will suffer. Unplug all connections, verify they are in the proper spots on the back of the television, and reconnect all cables making sure there is a tight, firm connection.
