Sulfentrazone

Brand names for sulfentrazone include Authority and Spartan. Sulfentrazone is applied either pre-plant or pre-emergent. It controls nightshade, kochia, lambsquarters and other small-seeded broadleaf weeds. Sulfentrazone is also used against other weeds such as mustard, Russian thistle, ragweed and buckwheat.
Alachlor

Some of the trade names for alachlor include Intro and Lasso. Alachlor controls annual grasses and some broadleaf weeds, such as black nightshade and redroot pigweed. However, alachlor is not effective against wild oat. It is applied either pre-plant or pre-emergent.

Cloransulam

Cloransulam, trade name FirstRate, is applied either pre-plant or pre-emergent. Cloransulam controls horseweed, pigweed species, common lambsquarters, common cocklebur along with common and giant ragweed. Cloransulam is not recommended for use against nightshade.
